The Employment Relations (Employee Remuneration Disclosure) Amendment Bill introduces a new personal grievance category and a reverse onus of proof—meaning employers must prove pay discussions weren’t part of any adverse action.

Compliance: Incorporated Societies

With some 25,000 societies or so still to reregister by the cutoff date of 5 April 2026, we're about to embark on a nationwide campaign to assist societies with the process.

We invite you to contact us to take advantage of our early bird offer.

Christchurch Property Update: Rates Down, Opportunities Up

The Christchurch property market is bouncing back stronger than other major NZ centres — and mortgage rates have dropped to 3-year lows. First-home buyers and upsizing families are jumping in, and high inventory levels mean buyers still hold strong negotiating power.

Thinking of buying or selling in 2025? Get the legal support you need early in the process to protect your interests and move with confidence.
